The Ansoumanya Stadium
HAMERE Sarl has been privileged to enter into engineering design and consultancy services contract with TACON PLC Sarl, which is one of the leading African construction contractors. The engagement demands HAMERE Sarl to deliver a complete set of architectural, structural, Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) as well as landscaping and interior design services.
The company is also assigned tasks of producing technical specifications, bill of quantities and related documentations required to execute the project. The Ansoumanya Stadium is a result of a revolutionary engineering efforts of the team of HAMERE Sarl that meets sustainability and safety requirements.
Located at the outskirt of Conakry, the capital of the Republic of Guinea, the stadium is designed to accommodate 51,000 spectators. The concept of the stadium has been driven from Kora, a long-necked harp lute of the Malinke people of western Africa. Planned to be realized with a total cost of $140,000,000 (one hundred forty million USD), the Ansoumanya stadium meets the FIFA requirements and the Safety and Security Regulations of CAF via modernization measures.
Additional distinct football training field with a capacity of 1,000 seat is also annexed to the stadium. The stadium is designed as a flexible, multi-functional sports facility to be built over 18 hectares plot of land. State-of the art polycarbonate translucent sheets roofing covers the entire spectators’ seats while the bowl shall also be enveloped. The features included in the design allow the stadium to host final tournaments.
The main stadium’s playground shall be surrounded by a sandwich type athletic or running track whose design and construction meets the standards of the International Association of Federations Athletics (IAAF). Administrative and football operations offices, changing rooms, luxury suites, club seats, club lounges, cafeteria, refreshment centers and other premium areas, concessions, ticket offices, team store, first aid office, event office and other standard spaces are also considered in the design.
